Acupuncture
01 / ACUPUNCTURE

Healing and balancing is the foundation of our practice. Acupuncture offers a prompt to your body’s intelligence to bring you back into homeostasis. This practice uses fine needles along energy channels to stimulate your body’s intelligence to prompt a healing response.

Energy channels may be stagnated or blocked which can give rise to pain, discomfort, disease, and emotional and spiritual imbalance. Acupuncture opens these channels to encourage more blood flow and circulation to relieve pain and bring your body back into balance.

02 / CUPPING, GUA SHA, TUINA, AND MOXA

Cupping creates a suction to pull and stretch the skin, fascia, and muscles into the cup. It may help with muscle tension, increased blood flow, pain and relaxation. During a gua sha session your skin is scraped with a gua sha tool to stimulate microcirculation of the soft tissue, which increases blood flow. Gua sha is intended to break up stagnant energy in the body to reduce inflammation and promote healing.

Moxibustion involves burning ground mugwort leaves, on or near your body’s meridians/ acupuncture points, which improves the flow of qi (energy) in your body. Tuina massage stimulates the flow of qi to promote balance and harmony within the body.

03 / FACIAL REJUVENATION

Facial rejuvenation specifically focuses on decreasing fine lines and wrinkles, healing acne and acne scars, lightening, and hyperpigmentation, and has specific anti-aging benefits.

Specialized techniques and needles are used to help tighten and define specific parts of the face. The tools used include acupuncture, gua sha, and jade rolling. It’s the most natural and lasting way to rejuvenate your face.

04 / AURICULAR ACUPUNCTURE

Auricular acupuncture is a commonly practiced technique involving the stimulation of specific points on the ear. These points correspond with specific organs, emotions or sensory feelings.

Hi, I’m Nina.

SO NICE TO SEE YOU HERE!

As a registered acupuncturist, I have a deep respect for the art of holistic healing and believe that health is a journey that starts from within. It’s important to make space and time for oneself to heal. It is my true passion to provide my patients with this space through effective, holistic solutions for mind-body wellness and healing rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Inspired by my own struggles with chronic migraines and experience as a patient of Traditional Chinese Medicine, I understand that the true strength of Traditional Chinese Medicine arises from its ability to empower the body’s internal resources and deliver lasting, non-invasive relief.

My special interests are cosmetic/facial acupuncture, graceful aging, and women’s health - particularly menopause - as well as migraine and pain therapy. In my spare time, I am an avid trail runner, enjoy swimming, surfing, and time with my two very active sons and my dog.
